Loxeal 86-86 High-Temperature Retaining Compound
Loxeal 86-86 is a high-strength, high-temperature anaerobic adhesive designed for locking and sealing cylindrical fitted parts and threaded metal connections. Its high-viscosity, thixotropic formula fills gaps up to 0.30 mm and is ideal for retaining bearings, bushings, gears, pulleys, sleeves and other cylindrical components.
Once cured, 86-86 provides a strong, vibration-resistant bond with excellent resistance to corrosion, water, gases, oils, hydrocarbons and many chemicals. It withstands continuous temperatures from -55C to +230C, making it well suited for demanding industrial and high-temperature applications.
Loxeal 86-86 is green for easy identification and is intended primarily for use on metal components. It can accommodate threaded connections up to M56 / 2″ and is DIN-DVGW approved under EN 751-1 for sealing gas threaded connections.
